HOW TO START A BLOG IN 2017 (FOR NEWBIE)

It's another day fleekersblog readers(you guys are the best),I hope you guys are doing fine? Fleekersblog is purely for youth development and today I will teach you guys how to start a blog under the "how to question segment". Let's journey together into the world of blogging.

define blog as a website that allows users to reflect,share opinions and discuss various topics in the form of an online journal,something letting readers to comment on their posts. I know many of us wish to blog but no hint on how to start but today you gonna get the best hint ever.
Questions to ask yourself before going into blogging

1. Why am I going into blogging
2. What niche am I going into
3. Who are my target audience
4. Am I ready to write great content
5. Do I have the require gadget

1. Why am I going into blogging: blogging is an interesting avocation and many people had become rich because they go into blogging. You need a reason for going into blogging, the reason will keep you going when you wanna give up because blogging sometime is challenging. Ask yourself, do I wanna blog for fun or do you wanna take it as profession and start making money from it. You reasons will surely help you in the time of test.
2. What niche am I going into: niche in blogging world simply means the area you wanna major in. We have entertainment bloggers,news bloggers,self improvement bloggers,SEO bloggers e.t.c You have to know the area you think you can offer you best because blogging is all about passion and what you have to offer. No that you can't give what you don't have. If you think you can major in all niche, my brother it can work and you will fizzle out at the end of the day.
3.Who are my target audience: you need to know who you target audience are so as to give them your best. You need to follow what your audience are saying and try all your possible best to answer their question. Fleekersblog is a self improvement,fantasy,health and how to  question. I try all my best with the team member to offer you our best.
4.Am I ready to write great content: in blogging world, content is the king and you have to be original in creating good content(copy and paste is very bad for your blog).
5. Do I have the require gadget: for you to become a successful blogger, you need to have computer. You can blog on mobile but you can never offer the best through mobile blogging.

Steps To Start A blog

1.The first thing you have to do is to get a domain. A domain will define the url of your blog and make it easy for people to access it from anywhere in this planet. Getting domain is not free with $10 you will get a domain(.com) from  Godaddy.
2.Get a host: blogging is all about putting content online and you gonna need something to host all those content. Host requires money and you can get one from Bluehost. Mind you Google blogger can offer you domain (subdomain) and host for free. Fleekersblog is hosted by Google and I can confidently tell you that they are one of the best.
3. Design your blog: you need to design your blog and make it user friendly. If you know you can't, you can hire a web developer to help you. Wordpress and Blogger already have template and theme that are user friendly.
4. Start posting: start posting and make sure you always update your blog at least once in a week. Updating your blog will really help you and make you a better blogger.

Starting with Google Blogger (Blogspot)

I started blogging since high school and I started with Blogger. Blogger is good for newbies compare to wordpress and as you are growing up in blogging, you may choose to migrate to wordpress.

Steps

1. Create a google account as you need it to access you dashboard
2.Go to Blogger and sign in with your google account. You can even create google account by signing up from blogger straight away.
3. Set you url (sub domain), I will advise you to start with blogspot first and as time goes on, you can get you domain from go daddy.
4. Study the dash board and starting post you content.
